Cut back adhesive bead (1) at body flange (2) using a scraper to a residual height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.

Remove cutting residues from body flange (2).

Repair paintwork damage at body flange (2).

 Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG:

Clean adhesive bead (1) at body flange (2).

 The cleaner is included in the repair kit.

Apply activator to body flange (2).

 Apply activator only after drying has dried.
The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

 The activator is included in the repair kit.
