Saw off an approx. 5 mm to 10 mm wide strip (A) from front edge of front fixed element (1).

 Saw carefully.
Otherwise the top seal (2) and the windshield can be damaged.

 Observe cutting depth when sawing.
Otherwise, front panoramic sliding sunroof frame can be damaged.

 Use oscillating saw with round sawing blade.

Saw off an approx. 5 mm to 10 mm wide strip (B) from the left or right edge of the front fixed element (1).

 Observe cutting depth when sawing.
Otherwise, front panoramic sliding sunroof frame can be damaged.

 Use oscillating saw with round sawing blade.

Cut adhesive bead (3) with cutting wire in direction of arrow.

 Cover adjacent paint surfaces with  set of shields when cutting.
Otherwise paint can be damage by cutting wire.

 Helper required.

Remove front fixed element (1) from panoramic sliding sunroof frame.

 Helper required.
