Fully open side window of rear door (2)

Remove outer sealing rail (3) from rear door (2)

Detach window guide seal (4) in area of decorative foil (1) from window frame

Detach sealing frame (5) in area of decorative foil (1) from rear door (2)

Heat decorative foil (1) with heat gun and remove from front door (2)



Clean bonding surface on rear door (2)


The bonding surface must be completely clean and free of grease.
Adhesion defects can otherwise arise.

Install

Remove protective foil from new decorative foil (1)

Align decorative foil (1) on bonding surface and attach


Gradually attach decorative foil (1) and at the same time smoothen with a doctor blade.
Air bubbles can otherwise be trapped under decorative foil (1).

Attach sealing frame (5) on rear door (2)

Secure window guide seal (4) on rear door (2)

Install outer sealing rail (3)
