Remove/install

Remove door trim

Remove inner door panel

Remove cover (1) from door frame in area of door lock (4)

Unclip retaining clips of release linkage (2) form door handle (3) and remove release linkage (2) from door handle

 Mark release linkage (2) before removal.

Remove door lock (4) from front door and remove from access opening with release linkage (2)

 Screw/bolt, door lock/lock switch to door

Remove release linkage (2) and inside door opener operating cable (5) from door lock (4)

 When door lock (4) is to be replaced only.

 Installation: Observe marking on release linkage (2).

Install in the reverse order
