Remove

Fully open side window of front door (2)

Remove sealing rail EXT (3) from front door (2)

Detach window guide seal (4) in area of decorative foil (1) from window frame

Heat decorative foil (1) with heat gun and remove from front door (2)



Clean bonding surface on front door (2)


The bonding surface must be completely clean and free of grease.
Adhesion defects can otherwise arise.

Install

Remove protective foil from new decorative foil (1)

Align decorative foil (1) on bonding surface and attach


Gradually attach decorative foil (1) and at the same time smoothen with a doctor blade.
Air bubbles can otherwise be trapped under decorative foil (1).

Secure window guide seal (4) on front door (2)

Install outer sealing rail (3)
