2 | Unscrew bolts (3) on equipment carrier cover (4) on center stowage box (1) | Only if equipment carrier is present. | |

4 | Remove cover strips (6) | | |
5 | Remove retaining plate (7) | ||
6 | Remove interior lamp (8) | For this purpose pull interior lamp (8) down on left, push toward right and remove from mount. | |

7 | Disconnect electrical connector from interior lamp (8) and remove interior lamp (8) | ||
8 | Fold matting (9) inward on center stowage box shelf (1) | ||
9 | Remove expansion rivets (10) | The expansion rivets (10) are located below the matting (9) on left and right at the rear corner of the center stowage box (1). | |
