Install front roof frame

 The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

1	Install front roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) and fix in place.

2	Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit for high-strength steels (areas B).

3	Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit for high-strength steels (areas C and D).

4	Remove mounting console (2).

5	Deburr rivet holes on mounting console (2) on both sides.

6	Remove drilling shavings with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

7	Install front roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) and fix in place.

8	Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.512 blind rivets (areas F).

9	Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.512.5 blind rivets (areas E).

10	Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.414.0 blind rivets with countersunk head (areas G and H).

11	Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.415.5 blind rivets with countersunk head (areas I and J).

12	Front roof frame (1)   (areas A).

 Inert gas weld in intervals and allow welding area to cool down in between. Reduces heat distortion.

13	Grind inert gas welds down flat (areas A)
