1 | Prepare bonding surfaces on insides of center roof paneling (1) in cross-hatched areas (areas A). |
Observe processing specifications of adhesive. |
2 | Grind mating surfaces in remaining cross-hatched areas on insides down to bare metal. |
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides. |
3 | Remove grinding dust. |
4 | Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint. |
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas B). |
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces. |
