Insert spacer blocks at undamaged side between center roof paneling (1) and side roof paneling and adjust dimension.

 When installing the center roof paneling (1) can be fitted with the adjusted spacer blocks.

Mark positions on vehicle and write down dimensions of spacer blocks.

Determine dimensions between outer edge of center roof paneling (1) to outer edge of front and rear roof carrier.

Mark positions of measuring points on vehicle and note dimensions.

Cut center roof paneling (1) (areas A).

 Mask side roof paneling with adhesive tape.
Otherwise paint damage can be caused by cutting.

 Do not make the cuts too deep.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

Cut bonding on center roof paneling (1) with cutting wire (areas B).

Remove section from center roof paneling (1).

Cut adhesive beads on remaining section of center roof paneling with suitable tool (areas C).

 The center roof paneling section can be heated. Ensure that a temperature of 120 °C is not exceeded.
Otherwise the structure of the adhesive areas below can change.

Remove adhesive material from body (areas C).

 Observe processing specifications of adhesive.
