Expose spot welds on roof paneling front section (1) (areas D and E).

Separate weld seams on roof paneling front section (1) (areas D and E).

Cut off spot welds on roof paneling front section (1) (areas D and E).

Expose spot welds on roof paneling front section (1) (areas A, B, and C).

Cut off spot welds on roof paneling front section (1) (areas A, B, and C).

 Mill off spot welds through 2 panel thicknesses (area C).

Bend center roof paneling in front section (arrows) slightly upward.

Remove roof paneling section (1).

Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas .

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove shavings and milling chips.

9

Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
