1 Open front flap.

2 To localize knocking noises have second mechanic move cab back and forth from both sides alternatingly and with varying force. Check pivot bearing (1) first by touching with finger (arrow) and then by touching the cab stabilizer with the whole hand

Knocking noises should not be audible.
