Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove loose objects from cab


Loose objects should not be present in the cab.
Otherwise the windshield can be damaged.

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Remove engine hood

MODEL 405 with CODE S84 (Right front additional mirror (on mowing door))

Move selector lever (2) on hydraulic pump (1) to "Lift" position and lift cab with hydraulic pump (1) to end position


During raising, check whether all lines and components between cab and frame are free of tension, if necessary disconnect connections.
Otherwise damage could occur to the lines or components.

 The vehicle lock is unlocked by the hydraulic pump (1).

 Tilting back:
Move selector lever (2) to "Lower" position.
Actuate hydraulic pump (1) until cab is positioned forward to the front of the vehicle and a strong resistance is felt.
Move selector lever (2) to "Lift" position and relieve piston rod of tilting hydraulics by actuating hydraulic pump (1) several times. Move selector lever (2) to "Lower" position.

Install safety strut (3) on piston rod as shown

 Observe adhesive labels.
