Remove

1

Remove roof lining (4) and place in vehicle.

Disconnect electrical connection (6).

Counterhold frame (2) from below and unlock catch hooks (arrows A).

Push rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1) downward until the catch hooks (3) can swivel inward (arrows B).

Unclip frame (2) together with rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1) downward at catch hooks (3) and remove.


Carefully unclip.
Otherwise the headliner (4) can be damaged.

Remove reinforcement (5).



Install

Release catch hooks (arrows A).

Remove rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1) from frame (2) until the catch hooks (3) can swivel inward (arrows B).

Place reinforcement (5) on roof lining (4).

Insert rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1) together with frame (2) from underneath into roof lining (4) and reinforcement (5).

Push rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1) upward and lock in frame (2).

Connect electrical connector (6).

Install roof lining (4).

Check

Perform function check on rear PARKTRONIC warning element (1).
