1 Unscrew the tachograph sensor (8) and separate the line as close as possible to the main wiring harness.
2 Screw new tachograph sensor (8) onto the transmission and attach tamper-proof seal .

3 Tie the pick-up line with cable ties (arrows) along the frame wiring harness.
Route pick-up line so that
abrasions and short-circuits
are avoided
4 Route the pick-up line through the
rubber grommet (9) into the vehicle interior.

5 Lever out stowage compartment (13) using a plastic wedge.
6 Unhook engine control unit (11).

7 Cut through the cable tie (6), press the cable end piece (7) downwards and unscrew the cable tie (6).

8 Route the pick-up line behind the dashboard, with cable ties (10, 12) on the frame as well as on the instrument carrier and on the air intake manifold.

9 Fasten new sensor line with plug (B) to existing line with insulation tape.
10 Detach plug (A) of old wiring harness.
11 Screw on cable tie (6) and fasten cable end piece (7).

12 Install engine control unit (11) and stowage compartment (13)
