Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove edge guard in area of cover (2).

Remove cover (2).

Release retaining clamp (3) through opening in cover (2), unclip cover (1) at arrows (A) and loosen until the electrical connector is accessible.

Do not stretch or kink lines.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.

Release retaining clamps of switch group for exterior lighting and electric parking brake (S1/2) through opening of cover (2) and loosen until the electrical connector is accessible.

Do not stretch or kink lines.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.

Release and disconnect electrical connector from switch group for exterior lighting and electric parking brake (S1/2).

Remove switch group for exterior lighting and electric parking brake (S1/2) from cover (1).

Install in the reverse order.
