Remove

Remove driver-side footwell trim (2).

Note slot assignment of diagnostics connection (1).

Open locks (3.1, 3.2) of diagnostics connection (1) using a suitable tool.


Open the locks (3.1, 3.2) carefully.
Otherwise the diagnostics connection (1) will be damaged.

Unpin electrical lines from diagnostics connection (1).

Install

5

Pin electrical lines into diagnostics connection (1) according to the previously noted pin assignment.

Close locks (3.1, 3.2) of diagnostics connection (1).

Install driver-side footwell trim (2).

Perform function test of diagnostics connection (1) as part of a quick test.


