1 | Carry out commissioning of signal acquisition and actuation module (1) using vehicle diagnosis system. | If the signal acquisition and actuation module (1) is replaced. | |

2 | Remove footwell trim on driver's side. | ||
3 | Adjust steering column into uppermost position. | ||
4 | Unclip line bracket (2.1) from holder (5). | Clip remover | |
5 | Unclip line bracket (2.2) from holder (5) and take electrical wiring harness (2) out of working area. | Clip remover | |
6 | Remove screw (3). | ||
7 | Unscrew screw (4). | ||
Caution | Risk of injury caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts | Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. | |
8 | Lift signal acquisition and actuation module (1) in direction of arrow and then remove from holder (5). | Installation: Ensure that the guide hooks (6) are correctly placed into the relevant holder (5) cutouts. | |
9 | Unclip line bracket (2.3). | Clip remover | |
10 | Disconnect electrical connectors (7) and remove signal acquisition and actuation module (1). | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order |
