1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
Installation: Close the engine hood only after carrying out a leak check. | |||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connection (20) | ||
4 | Detach suction line 23) | ||
5 | Detach ventilation pipe (22) | ||
6 | Remove screw/bolt (21) | ||
7 | Detach air intake hose (24) from ATL and remove | ||
8 | Unfasten exhaust pipe (1) and put aside to the rear from working area | ||
9 | Remove heat shield (3) | Screw/bolt, heat shield to exhaust gas turbocharger and engine brake valve fitting | |
10 | Remove clamp (4) | Installation: Replace hose clamp (4). | |
Screw/bolt, V-band-type clamp of exhaust pipe to flanged manifold | |||
11 | Remove exhaust-gas flexible tube (2) to the rear | ||
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||

13 | Start engine and check the exhaust system for leaktightness | Visual inspection. |
