 	Remove/install

1	Remove engine trim panel
2	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150TXX
3	Remove shield above turbocharger
4	Disconnect electrical connector for oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2x1)
5	Remove clamping plates (1) for pressure lines		*BA14.40-P-1003-01A
			*BA14.40-P-1004-01A
6	Unscrew nut (2)		*BA49.10-P-1011-01I
7	Remove pipe clamp (3)		*BA49.10-P-1015-01I
8	Remove rear part section of bottom part of soundproofing
9	Unscrew pressure lines (4) on diesel particulate filter		*BA14.40-P-1002-01A
10	Loosen pipe clamp (5)		*BA49.10-P-1014-01I
11	Separate connector (6)
12	Loosen bracket (7)		*BA49.10-P-1018-01I
13	Unscrew nuts (8)		*BA49.10-P-1017-01I
14	Take out catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit (9)
15	Install in the reverse order
16	Read fault memory, erase if necessary
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A

Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 17	Carry out an engine test run and test exhaust system for leaks
