The low-pressure lines of the fuel system have a connector with a release arm (1) in place of screw connections.
The lines are sealed by means of a seal (2).
Disconnecting
1 Press the release arm (1) all the way in the release position (arrow) as shown in Figure A.
2 Disconnect connector for low-pressure line.
3 Immediately press the release arm (1) all the way again in the release position (arrow) as shown in Figure A.
The release arms (1) must not be in the release position (a) for a long time, otherwise this can lead to leakage due to deformation of the low-pressure line.
Connecting
4 Check whether the release arm (1) is in the installed position (b).
If the release arm (1) was in the release position (a) for a long time the low-pressure line must be replaced, otherwise this can lead to leakage due to deformation of the low-pressure line.
5 Insert connector of low-pressure line.
6 Check that connector is tight and free of leaks.
