1 | Switch off ignition | ||
2 | Remove trim panel of fuel tank | Only on right hand side of vehicle. | |
Danger! | Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. | No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. | |
3 | Pump out fuel | ||
4 | Disconnect electric cables (1) | Installation: Note position of electrical cables (1). The ground conductor is fixed with a bolt (2). | |
5 | Unscrew bolts (2) and remove fuel gage sender (3) | Inspect seal, replace if necessary. Ensure the sensor is correctly installed. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order |
