Removal, installation

Remove bottom engine cover

Extract fluid from power steering pump



Unbolt hydraulic fluid pipes (6, 7) at power steering pump (2)

 Removing: collect hydraulic fluid which flows out

 Installing: replace seals



Slacken bolts (5) and remove power steering pump

 Removing: remove power steering pump to the side and rear; pay attention to cross plate (3)



Take off cross plate (3)

 Installing: rotate air compressor crankshaft until the guides of the cross plate (3) are positioned horizontally. Fit cross plate (3) onto air compressor crankshaft; secure with grease if necessary to prevent it slipping.

Install in the reverse order

Bleed steering, check fluid level
