Detaching and attaching power steering pump

D46.30-1003-01

1 Remove supporting strut (1) from power steering pump and from intake pipe.

2 Remove vent hose (3) from power steering pump carrier

Detaching and attaching power steering pump

3 Remove pulley (4) from power steering pump.

It is not necessary to remove the pulley if it is fastened with a central nut.

4 Remove bracket (8).

5 Remove power steering pump (6) from timing case cover and lay down to side with connected lines.

6 Install in reverse sequence.

Observe tightening torques.
