Install new radial shaft sealing ring (4) using a suitable tool.

Coat new sealing ring (5) with grease and install.

Grease cavity radial shaft sealing ring (4) between sealing lip and dust lip.

Coat new sealing ring (3) with grease and install.

Mount electromechanical controller unit (1) on steering gear.

 Before mounting the electromechanical controller unit (1), make sure that the markings of the shaft and the cap relative to the housing (arrows) are in alignment.
Do not twist the electromechanical controller unit (1) when mounting.

Check markings of shaft and cap relative to housing (arrows).

If markings of shaft and cap relative to housing (arrows) are not in alignment:



Remove electromechanical controller unit (1), align shaft and remount electromechanical controller unit (1).

Install new screws/bolts (2)   .
