When replacing electric steering lock control unit (N26/5).



Activate circuit 30C using transmitter key or start/stop button

 Circuit 30C must not be deactivated until the battery has been disconnected because the electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) cannot be removed when in the locked state.

Remove steering column tube (1)

Unscrew bolt (2)

 Bolt, steering wheel lock control unit to steering column tube

Release lock (3) using suitable screwdriver

Remove electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) from steering column tube (1)

Install in the reverse order
