Measure gap width and note down

Remove retarder rotor to be adjusted

Set the gap width by removing or adding spacer washers (2)

Washer (1) must be inserted first in direction of pole flange (3).

Install retarder rotor

Do not install drive shaft yet.

Measure gap width

Repeat procedure if necessary

Install drive shafts

Installation: Install new nuts.
