Risk of skin or eye injury caused by high-pressure spills of the retarder's oil. | Do not carry out any work unless the retarder is turned off. Use protective clothing and glasses when working on the retarder's hot surface. | |

Install: the concave side of the safety ring must point to the silencer disk. | |||
2 | Remove the silencer disk (2) | Silencer disk D30x4 | |
Install: clean the silencer disk with an adequate cleaning fluid and dry with compressed air. | |||
3 | Remove the spring (3) | ||
4 | Install in reverse order |
