1 | Remove upper engine cover | ||
2 | Unclip vacuum line (4) from bracket (1) | ||
3 | Unlock and pull off vacuum line (4) on vacuum pump (2) | ||
4 | Detach bracket (1) from vacuum pump (2) | ||
5 | Detach bracket (1) from crash plate | ||
6 | Detach vacuum hose (5) from vacuum pump (2) | ||
7 | Remove bolts (3) | ||
8 | Remove vacuum pump (2) | ||
9 | Clean sealing surfaces on vacuum pump (2), cylinder head and cylinder head cover | ||
| Install | ||
10 | Position vacuum pump (2) with new seal | Note position of vacuum pump (2) driver. | |
11 | Screw in screws (3) | Bolt, vacuum pump to cylinder head/cylinder head cover | |
12 | Attach vacuum hose (5) to vacuum pump (2) | ||
13 | Secure bracket (1) to crash plate | ||
14 | Attach bracket (1) to vacuum pump (2) | ||
15 | Connect vacuum line (4) to vacuum pump (2) and lock | ||
16 | Clip vacuum line (4) into bracket (1) | ||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
