Secure vehicle at front axle against rolling

Insert test scale (1) into pit hoist



Raise vehicle using pit hoist and test scale (1) at suitable position on rear axle


The vehicle must be raised only when it is unladen.
Otherwise the rear axle may be damaged.

 Only raise vehicle until wheels can turn freely.

Read off rear axle load on test balance (1)

 Note down measured value.

Lower vehicle

Remove tooling


