| Check | ||
1 | Connect test kit | AM: Circuit 1 test connection (1), Circuit 2 test connection (2), Test connection for reservoir pressure/tire inflator connection (3)
| |||
2 | Fill brake system with compressed air until the pressure regulator cuts out
3 | Switch on ignition | ||
4 | Call up measured values (MW) 1 and 2 at instrument cluster (INS)
5 | Compare displayed measured values (MW) with reading on test pressure gauge | A measured value of 970 to 1070 corresponds to 9.7 to 10.7 bar displayed on the test pressure gauge. If the values correspond, the brake circuit 1/2 reservoir pressure sensor (B71) is OK. The test is complete.
If the readings vary, perform the following checks:
Check cable set for continuity and short circuits, eliminate defects if necessary.
Check brake circuit 1/2 reservoir pressure sensor (B71) at four-circuit protection valve using test adapter.
