1 Connect test kit.
2 Connect test gauge 1 to tire inflation connection test connection (1).
3 Connect test gauge 2 to air suspension supply pressure test connection (2).
W42.60-0049-01
4 Connect test gauge 3 to air suspension air reservoir test connection (3).
If there is no test connection (3), one must be installed in the air reservoir (5.01b).
5 Start engine and fill compressed-air system at idling speed.
Do not fill the compressed-air system from an external source.
6 Observe the pressure gauges during the filling process and fill compressed-air system up to the cutoff pressure.
First, the pressure on test gauge 1 rises to approx. 10 - 0.4 bar, then the pressure on test gauge 2 starts to rise to approx.
10.3 -0.3 bar, until finally the pressure rises to the cutoff pressure on all three gauges.
7 Actuate brake. The pressure on test gauge 1 should fall.
The pressure on test gauges 2 and 3 must not fall.
8 Operate air suspension system with operating unit.
The pressure on test gauge 1 drops to 10 - 0.4 bar.
The pressure on test gauges 2 and 3 continues to fall.
If these test values are not obtained, the installed position (flow directions) of both overflow valves and of the check valve must be checked.
