1 - Workbench accessories
A = Workbench pressure regulating valve.
G = Actuation valves arranged in all circuits.
a = Restriction of the supply circuit, 0.85 mm diameter.
F = Restrictions of the circuits 21; 22; 23; and 24, 0.35 mm diameter.
M1 = M21 = M22 = M23 = M24 = Pressure gages in the circuits. Nominal diameter of the pipe = 8 mm.
2 - Visual check
Check the valve for external damages.
3 - Connect the valve in test stand
Connection 1, in the supply circuit for pressurization through the valve “G”, restriction “a” and gage M1;
Connection 21, in the circuit of the gage M21 with de-pressurization through the valve “G” and valve “F”;
Connections 23 and 24, in the circuits of the respective gages M23 and M24 with de-pressurization through the valves “G” and restrictions “F”.

4 - Test the leak
Apply 8 bar in the circuit 1 through the valve “A” and restriction “F”.
Activate and deactivate the valve from 10 to 15 times for a better seating of the components.
Close the circuits 21; 22; 23 and 24 through the valves “G”.
Apply neutral soap foam and check for leaks.
Close the valve “G” supplying the circuit 1 keeping it pressurized.
The pressure in the circuit 1 may drop, at maximum 0.1 bar in 2 minutes. If leaks occur it is necessary to disassemble and repair the valve.
Pressure gages M21; M22; M23 and M24 must indicate zero bar.
Close the valves of the circuits 21; 22; 23; and 24.
5 -Adjust the opening pressure
Circuit 21
Apply 6.7 to 7.0 bar on circuit 1 through the regulating valve “A”, tap“G” and restriction “A”. Confirm the pressure on gage M1.
Loosen the“M” threaded pin corresponding to the circuit 21 until pressure increase starts on gage M21.
Circuit 22
Through the valve “G” and restriction “F” de-pressurize the circuit 21. The gage M21 will have to indicate zero bar.
Close the valve “G” of the circuit 21.
Apply 6.7 to 7.0 bar on circuit 1 through the valve “A”, tap“G” and restriction “a”. Confirm the pressure on gage M22.
Loosen the“M” adjusting threaded pin corresponding to the circuit 22 until pressure increase starts on gage M22.
Circuits 23 and 24
Note:To adjust the circuits 23 and 24, the valves of the circuits 21 and 22 are to be open with the beginning adjusting pressure. A pressure difference of approximately 0.2 more bar will occur for the circuits 23 and 24.
Through the valve "A", tap "G" and restriction "a" apply 6.7 to 7.0 bar on circuit 1. Confirm the pressures on gages M1; M21 and M22.
The valves of the circuits 21 and 22 must be open at the beginning of the adjusting pressure (6.7 to 7.0 bar).
Loosen the“M” adjusting threaded pin corresponding to the circuit 23 until pressure increase starts on gage M23.
Loosen the“M” adjusting threaded pin corresponding to the circuit 24 until pressure increase starts on gage M24.
6 - Test the closing and safety pressure
Close the valves of the circuits 21; 22; 23 and 24.
Through the valve "A", tap "G" and restriction "A" apply to 8 bar on circuit 1. Confirm the pressures on gages of the circuits.
Close the valve “G” of the circuit 1 supply.
Through the valve “G” and restriction “F” de-pressurize the circuit 23. Pressure gages M21; M22; and M24, must indicate a pressure not below 4.5 bar.
Close the valve “G” of the circuit 23.
Pressurize the circuit 1 through the valve “A” and tap “G” and restriction “a”. Confirm the pressures on the circuit gages.
Close the valve “G” of the circuit 1 supply.
Through the valve “G” and restriction “F” de-pressurize the circuit 24. Pressure gages M21; M22; and M23 must indicate a pressure not below 4.5 bar.
Close the valve “G” of the circuit 24.
Pressurize the circuit 1 to 8 bar through the valve “A” ,tap “G” and restriction “a”. Confirm the pressures on the circuit gages.
De-pressurize the circuits 1 and 21 through the valves “G” and restrictions “F”. The gage M22 will have to indicate a pressure not below 4.5 bar and the gages M23 and M24 a pressure not below 6.7 bar.
Close the valves “G” de-pressurizing the circuits 1 and 21.
Pressurize the circuit 1 to 8 bar through the valve “A” ,tap “G” and restriction “a”. Confirm the pressures on the circuit gages.
De-pressurize the circuits 1 and 22 through the valves “G” and restrictions “F”. The gage M21 will have to indicate a pressure not below 4.5 bar and the gages 23 and 24 and a pressure not below 6.7 bar.
De-pressurize all the circuits through the valves “G” and restrictions “F”.
7 - Lock the threaded adjusting
Once the valve test and adjustment are finished, lock the threaded “M” pins applying one or two drops of a specified locking compound in its top part.
8 - Remove the valve from the test stand
Remove the connections from the valve and install plastic protectors in the ports.
