1 | Remove rear wheel. | ||
2 | Release fender liner (1) in front area until electrical connector (3) is accessible and electric line (2) can be exposed. | Model 205, 253, 293 | |
3.1 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from rear axle left distributor electrical connector (X62/32) or rear axle right distributor electrical connector (X62/33). | Model 205 | |
3.2 | Unlock electrical connector (6) and remove from left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4). | Model 213 | |
4 | Unscrew bolt (4). | Bolt, rpm sensor to wheel carrier | |
5 | Remove holder (5) from left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) and hook up to one side. | Model 205, 213, 253 (except 253.388/389/988/989), 293 | |
6 | Expose electric line (2) of left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4) and remove left rear axle rpm sensor (L6/3) or right rear axle rpm sensor (L6/4). | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
8 | Read out and erase fault memory using the vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
