1	Switch off ignition
2	Clean traction systems hydraulic unit (A7/3) at top in the area of the hydraulic lines
3	Unscrew hydraulic lines from traction systems hydraulic unit (A7/3)	 Risk of confusion! Before unscrewing, mark hydraulic line relative to appropriate connector.
		 Ring wrench insert with size 11 mm.	*000589750300
		 Ring wrench insert with size 12 mm.	*140589000300
		 Seal hydraulic lines and connectors with stop plugs.	*129589009100
		 Installation:Pay attention to the markings when screwing on the hydraulic lines. Do not misconnect hydraulic lines. If necessary, check installation of lines to the corresponding wheel.

4	Disconnect connector (A7/3x1) from traction systems hydraulic unit	Unclip connector at bottom at left and right, fold upwards and detach connector.
5	Pull out traction systems hydraulic unit (A7/3) upwards, in the process pressing carefully to one side	 Installation: Check rubber grommets for correct seat and condition, replace if necessary.
6	Unscrew bracket (13a) from traction systems hydraulic unit	 Vehicles with gasoline engine	*BA42.45-P-1004-01B
		 Vehicles with diesel engines	*BA42.45-P-1002-01C
7	Unscrew control unit (N47) from traction systems hydraulic unit and detach carefully	 Vehicles with gasoline engine	*BA42.45-P-1005-01B

8	Install in the reverse order	 If necessary flush away spilled brake fluid in the area of the longitudinal frame member with water.

10	Read out and erase fault memory	 Fault memory, see Diagnosis Manual, Suspension, Volume 3.
11	Activating steering angle sensor		AR46.10-P-0300-01A
