| Disassemble | ||
3 | Remove retaining ring (1) | ||
4 | Pull out pilot bushing for fixed bearing (4) and pilot bushing for floating bearing (11) | ||
5 | Use screwdriver to pry out boot (2) | | |
6 | Remove pilot bushing (10) | ||
7 | Remove brass bushing (3) | ||
| Assemble | ||
8 | Install new brass bushing (3) | ||

10 | Install boot (2) onto inner fixed bearing | ||
11 | Insert pilot bushing for fixed bearing (4) and pilot bushing for floating bearing (11) | ||
12 | Insert boot (2) into groove on pilot bushing for fixed bearing (4) and install retaining ring (1) | The boot (2) must be seated all the way round in the groove. Check that the retaining ring (1) is correctly seated. | |
