Remove

Remove brake linings

Remove thrust piece with boot (4) and check inner dust cap (2) for damage

If the inner dust cap (2) is damaged.



Replace brake calipers.

Check adjusting thread of threaded tubes (3) for corrosion

In event of corrosion or water ingress on threaded tube (3)



Replace brake calipers.

Clean and check seat of thrust piece with boot (4) in brake caliper

If seat is damaged



Replace brake calipers.

Install

Install thrust piece with boot (4)

 Use new dry liner for the trunnion of the threaded tube (3).
