3 | Detach guard plate (3) | Remove lower shield (3) only. | |
4 | Unhook outer return spring (5) using brake spring hook (13) | Brake spring hook | |
5 | Unhook inner return spring (4) using brake spring hook (13) | Brake spring hook | |
6 | Remove bolt (9) and remove pin lock (8) | ||
7 | Remove brake shoe pins (7) and brake shoes (6, 11) | Remove O-rings (10). | |
| Install | ||
8 | Install brake shoe pins (7) and brake shoes (6, 11) | Grease brake shoe pins (7) and bushings on brake shoes (6, 11), remove O-rings (10). | |
9 | Mount pin lock (8) and screw-in bolt (9) | The microencapsulated bolts (9) have to be replaced. | |
10 | Attach inner return spring (4) with brake spring hook (13) | Use a new inner retracting spring (4). | |
