Installing piston rod clevis

T42.10-0026-01

1 Push brake lever (1) against the direction of operation up to the stop (arrow) and hold depressed.

2 Slacken locknut (2) on

- bellows (if fitted) and on clevis (Wabco version), or only on

- clevis (Grau version).

3 Bring the holes in the clevis (4) and the hole in the brake lever (1) into alignment by turning the piston rod (3) and install the clevis pin with a new cotter pin.

 When aligning holes and clevis (4), the piston rod (3) must not be pulled out of the brake cylinder.

4 Re-tighten the lock nuts (2).
