1 | Switch on filling unit and set bleed pressure to 2.0 bar. |
2 | Remove covers of bleed valves on all brake calipers (1, 2, 3, 4). |
3 | Attach vent hose of bleed bottle to bleed valve of right rear brake caliper (1). |
4 | Open bleed valve of brake caliper (1). |
5.1 | To bleed the hydraulic system of the brake system if the hydraulic system was opened for repair purposes. |
To bleeding the brake system correctly it is absolutely essential to pump the brake pedal throughout the entire bleeding process. |
To prevent air from being drawn in, do not pump the brake pedal in a jerking manner but instead release it slowly. |
The bleed valve of the brake caliper (1) can remain open throughout the entire pumping procedure. |
5.2 | To replace the brake fluid if the brake system's hydraulic system was not opened beforehand for repair purposes. |
Pumping of the brake pedal is not necessary. |
6 | Close bleed valve of brake caliper (1). |
7 | Detach vent hose of bleed bottle from bleed valve of brake caliper (1). |
8 | Repeat operation steps 3 to 7 on remaining brake calipers (2, 3, 4). |
Process the brake calipers (2, 3, 4) in numerical order. |
9 | Fit covers of bleed valves to all brake calipers (1, 2, 3, 4). |
10 | Switch off filling unit. |
