Remove/install

Screw out the spring brake release bolt (1) with the parking brake released

 Installation: The new spring brake combination cylinders (2) are supplied separately.

 Accumulator spring relief bolt in relief position

 Spring-loaded actuator release screw in released position

Position the parking brake valve in the full braking position

Remove the compressed air pipings (7)

Remove the cotter pins (6), the washers (5) and the pins (3)

 Installation: Install new pins (6), cotter-pins (6) and washers (5).

Remove the combination brake cylinder (2)

 Combined cylinder nut on support
