1 | Remove wheel | Remove wheels on left or right of rear axle. | |
2 | Release parking brake | only when removing at rear axle | |
3 | Reset brake shoes with adjustment screw (1) on automatic linkage adjuster (2) | Turn adjustment screw counterclockwise. | |
4 | Remove bolts (4) | ||
5 | Remove brake drum (3) | If brake drum is seized, screw two bolts (M12x1,75) into the thread (arrows) and press the brake drum evenly off wheel hub (5). | |
Installation: Clean contact surfaces on brake drum (3) and the wheel hub (5). | |||
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Adjust play of drum brake |
