Counterhold propeller shaft using counterholder and unscrew bolts (2).

Remove bolts (3) and detach propeller shaft (1) with flex disk from rear axle differential.

Unscrew bolts (6) and remove rear propeller shaft intermediate bearing (7).

 Installation: Check for correct installation position of rear propeller shaft center support bearing (7).

 Bolt, propeller shaft center support bearing to underfloor

Unscrew bolts (4) of propeller shaft intermediate bearing and remove retaining plate (5).

 Helper required.

 Mark installation position of retaining plate (5) and of propeller shaft intermediate bearing to underbody.

 Installation: Check that the retaining plate (5) is in the correct installation position.

 Bolt, propeller shaft center support bearing to underfloor

Remove propeller shaft (1) downwards.

First, detach propeller shaft (1) from rear axle differential, then detach from transmission and remove downwards.

Remove flex disks from propeller shaft (1).

If propeller shaft (1) is replaced.

 Bolt, drive shaft to flexible coupling on transmission
