Attach colored identification on front propeller shaft to flange of front axle transmission and to flange of transfer case, to ensure the ex-factory installation position can be restored again when installing.

Remove bolts (1 to 6) from front axle gear and/or from transfer case and remove front propeller shaft.

 Counterhold flange on front axle transmission or transfer case using  retainer wrench.

Align markings with each other.

Tighten screws (3, 6) to initial torque of 10 Nm and mark.

Tighten screws (1 to 6) in numerical sequence     .
