Jack up vehicle at the front axle and secure with stands.

Set dial indicator (1) so that the measurement disc (1.1) is level with the axle center.

Place measurement disc (1.1) as near as possible to tire center and turn wheel and tire assembly by hand.

 Note operator's manual and scale graduation on dial indicator (1).

Compare indicated value with specified value.

 If the specified value is exceeded, replace tire.
