1 Measure play (C) between brackets (1) of lifting device and axle tube (2) of trailing axle
The play (C) must be the same at both brackets (1). If the play (C) does not match the specified value, the play (C) must be adjusted.
2 Depending on play (C), adjust nuts (3, 4) until specified play (C) is attained
If the play (C) is too great, loosen the nuts (3) and tighten the nuts (4). If the play (C) is too small, proceed as follows.
3 Tighten nuts (4) to specified torque.
4 Measure thread projection (A) at brackets (1); cut off projecting thread if necessary.
The thread projection (A) must not exceed approx.
10 mm.
