Check

1 Press shift collar (1) by hand up all the way into the gearing of the dog clutch.

2 Measure axial play between the shift fork (3) and the right and left shift collar (1) with feeler gauge (2), keeping the shift collar (1) pressed in while doing so.

 Adjust axial play of shift collar (1) if necessary.

Adjust

3 Remove shift piston again and reinstall with corresponding adjusting disk (4).

 Downsize axial play: Install thicker adjusting disk.
Enlarge axial play: Install thinner adjusting disk.
