Removing
1 Pull gearshift tube with shift collar slightly out of axle tube.
2 Pull shift collar out of guide slot on gearshift tube.

3 Pull gearshift tube out of axle tube.
4 Spread slide ring slightly and pull off gearshift tube.

Installing
5 Insert slide ring into slot on gearshift tube.
6 Grease gearshift tube and insert approximately halfway into axle tube.

7 Insert shift collar sideways into guide slot on gearshift tube.
8 Push gearshift tube with shift collar all the way into axle tube.
