2 | Detach left or right rear axle shaft (4) from rear axle shaft flange (3) | To do this, remove bolts (5). | |
3 | Remove left or right rear axle shaft flange (3) | To do so, apply a tire lever to the rear axle shaft flange (3) and tip out of the rear axle differential housing. | |
4 | Remove radial shaft sealing ring (2). | Do not damage seat of radial shaft sealing ring. | |

5 | Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring in the rear axle differential (1) housing | Cold degreasing agent/cold cleaning solvent HAKU 1025-920 | |

6 | Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring in the rear axle differential (1) housing | ||

7 | Install radial shaft sealing ring (2) | Replace radial shaft seal (2). Lubricate lip of radial shaft sealing ring (2). | |
