The collar nut (1) is completely unlocked when the locking tab is completely sheared off on the shaft (4) in the area (arrow) of the locking tab (3).

Shear off the locking tab (2) in the locking groove (3) on the shaft (4) completely using a sharp chisel (5).
The locking tab (2) must be sheared off completely. Any small remnants of the locking tab (2) can otherwise damage the thread of the shaft (4) when the collar nut (1) is unscrewed.
