1 Place differential in holder (1) and clamp using appropriate thrust piece (6).
2 Unscrew inner serrated bolts (2) and remove top part of differential housing (3) from bottom part of differential housing (4).
- Before removing top part of differential housing (3), hexagon nut (5) of holder (1) must be unscrewed and thrust piece (6) removed.
- Rear axle HOSE with drum brake: Use of fillister head bolts (2).

3 Remove following parts in sequence from bottom part of differential housing (4): shim (10), upper differential side gear (11), differential spider (14) with differential bevel gears (12), thrust plates (16), bearing needles (15) and thrust washers (13) and also lower differential side gear (17) and thrust washer (18).
Rear axle HOSE with drum brake:
No thrust plates (16) or bearing needles (15) fitted.
4 Remove following parts in sequence from differential spider (14): thrust washer (13), differential bevel gear (12), bearing needles (15) and thrust plate (16).
Pay attention to released bearing needles.
5 Remove bottom part of differential housing (4) from holder .
